Meet Gary.

Gary is the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) for Concord Asset Management and is responsible for macroeconomic analysis, asset allocation, and security selection as well as trading and investment operations.

Prior to joining Concord, Gary was Chief Investment Officer for a trust company and Chief Risk Officer for a mutual life insurance company. He has a diverse set of investment experiences having managed stock (value and growth), bond (core investment grade, high yield, and opportunistic), and mutual fund (asset allocation) portfolios for both individuals and institutions.

During his career, he has been involved in leading commercial real estate lending and investment functions as well as business planning and valuation. He has also delivered lectures on applied portfolio management at The George Washington University and fixed-income accounting at Marymount University.

Gary has over 21 years of investment experience and holds an undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Maryland and an MBA from The George Washington University School of Business.

He resides in Fairfax, Virginia with his wife and their two boys. Besides managing money, he enjoys playing golf and piano. Gary also serves on the Board of Directors for his synagogue and as Treasurer of the Ivymount Foundation, which supports a school and programs for children and young adults with autism and other developmental disorders.
